Arrows in cell - can't remove

Has anyone seen these and know how to remove them?

I've searched and can't find out what causes or how to remove.

They are not native to Excel. Are you running any Add-ins?

What version of Excel are you using?

@Wyn Hopkins   Thanks.  Excel 2013. Lots of add ins.  See attached.   Of hundreds of files, this is the only one with issues.  Got it from a previous co-worker: don't know what version or how she created it

Try starting Excel in Safe mode (by holding Ctrl when launching Excel) and then open the file to see if the shapes disappear, that would rule out your addins, and then if they are still there they must have been added by some other application or manually

Is the file a .xlsm file with Macros in it?
