Greetings folks, my name is Dean Paron and I’m the Group Program Manager for the Silicon Valley campus of the Remote Desktop Virtualization team.  This week, I’m attending TechEd 2012 in Orlando along with some of my colleagues, and we’re having a great time talking with our customers and partners about the new technologies and scenarios introduced in Windows Server 2012.

During the conference, we presented two overview sessions that paint the end-to-end picture of Remote Desktop Services in Windows Server 2012.  For folks interested in grounding themselves in what’s new in the release, these are great videos to use as a starting point.

The first video centers on the infrastructure and management side of the house, and covers everything from deployment and configuration options to how to enable high availability and scalability at lower cost.

The second video walks through the high-fidelity remoting experience, and explores all the features and scenarios that light up with RemoteFX in Windows Server 2012.  You will see some great demos in action, such as rich 3D graphics, multi-touch redirection, and great performance under low-bandwidth conditions.

Thanks for watching.  You can find more information about these videos on the Channel 9 site, including downloads for both the PowerPoint presentations and the videos.
