What technically does the install page as app do?

Installing a page as an app, allows you to launch the website as an action from your start menu, without much of the browsers user interface. Thank you for the question @daviderskine.

Like what parts are made into the PWA?

As you move through pages does it store more?

@Elliot Kirk When installing this app - Microsoft Tech Coimmunity - from Edge Dev, I noticed no navigation, like back arrow, which makes using the "app" cumbersome.
