@Elliot Kirk Still having issues with extensions crashing, manly lastpass. LastPass Crash
It doesn't matter if we use Canary or Dev, it happens in both and has done since about the 3rd update. Whilst I understand that these are test versions, it's still annoying as I use LastPass for everything, so testing suffers due to LastPass crashing and then locking me out and I have to jump through many hoops to log back in again.
It's not only LastPass, a couple of other extensions also crash. What is strange though is that the dev and Canary versions of Google Chrome do not have this issue. The extensions on Edge are from the Microsoft store. I tried the same ones from the google extension store and the same thing happens, so it doesn't seem to matter where they are acquired.
So far, this is the only issue I've found and I really love Edge (chromium) as it just seems much better than Chrome.

There's a tile on the main landing page about dark mode, but can't seem to find the feature anywhere in settings. Am I missing something? @Elliot Kirk

Awesome on the latest features and behaviors.
The biggest needs for our agency is SSO and for the ability to be able to digitally sign pdfs in Edge browser with piv/smartcards. If this became an option to digitally sign pdfs in edge, then we would dump adobe dc/adobe reader in a heartbeat. @Elliot Kirk

@Elliot Kirk There is a bug with Netflix where it has extreme stutters with full screen. Hardware doesn't seem to matter.

Any news about the independent dark mode option?

Will the future dark mode look something like this, with the Microsoft Logo background also being dark? Coz that would be amazing. Good work so far.@Elliot Kirk

Thanks for the updates, things are looking great. Especially the new folder icons! I agree with everyone else praising the new icons; the new yellow color is so much better and looks great on the favorites bar.

Just wanted to throw some love out to the dev team - I've been so impressed with this effort, I've already replaced Chrome as my primary browser. I really hope the stashed open tabs and the drawing controls remain, but everything else has been incredible and the resource use is head and shoulders above other browsers that I've historically used. Keep it up, folks!

@Elliot Kirk wrote:Hello Insiders! Today we released build 77.0.211.2 to the Microsoft Edge Developer channel. We’ve got some new features, many of which you’ve seen over the past two weeks in Canary and have been eagerly waiting for in Dev. We’ve also fixed quite a few reliability and behavior issues, the most significant of which include:
- Enabled ability to automatically repair extensions by default.
In addition to this work, there has been a ton of work on coming features including enterprise management and IE-mode. And of course, thanks to everybody for being an insider and sending us all of your great feedback and suggestions!
This is not working... As you can see one of the extensions I use as of today (7/11/2019) has crashed and did not "Automatically repair its self...
Had to manually click the "repair" option...

Hi @gabgb, I was mistaken. The ReadAloud feature for PDFs is not in this week's Dev build. I apologize for the confusion.
07-11-2019 08:57 AM
Hi @Vu_chien, I apologize. Read Aloud is not in this week's Developer channel update. I must have mixed up my Canary and Dev windows when I was testing this feature. It does work on today's Canary build (I retested just to make sure :-D). Read Aloud on Reading View should be in next week's Developer channel update.
Thanks, and sorry again!

@Elliot Kirk Great work folks, thanks for all the effort. Good to see you continue to make progress towards being able to sign in using a corporate O365 account - any idea when this will be available please as it's the big improvement we're waiting for.

@Elliot Kirk Why is the HTTPS:// suddenly gone? It is kind of annoying when I need to change the URL and it suddenly pops back up.

ditto. why? that's something i've always hated about chrome's ui with this. makes no sense that when you copy the url it actually copies the hidden https://, when my eyes tell me it should only be copying url without the https://.

@Dennis5mile if you middle-click on a link, it opens in a new tab, no questions asked. Very helpful for me. (Note that some mice don't have this button)

Maybe we should be allowed to customize the color of our folders or leave them on 'transparent' which would be how they were before?

@Elliot Kirk Is there any plan for adding the Set aside tabs feature back into Edge? As an enterprise business Admin, several unique Edge features are what drove user adoption. This feature, in particular, is a favorite among our users. I fear if it is not included in the Chromium version of Edge, user adoption will plummet. This is such a powerful tool for users who need to stay organized with their web research and web-based applications.

@Elliot Kirk When do you think we'll be able to see Fluent Design in the form of acrylic added?
07-12-2019 06:39 AM
Testing out IE mode in our enterprise environment and it's working great. With the Legacy Browser Support addon it's seamless already. Great work.
Looking forward to the production version so we can ditch IE/UWP Edge ;)

@Elliot KirkGreat work on the updates. However, it seems that some extensions like LastPass are not working on the new build. I also tried EnPass and it doesn't appear to work either. Maybe something to look in to?
07-12-2019 08:10 AM
@briancuster I would try removing and re-installing. I have no issues running LastPass or uBlock or other extensions.

@Elliot Kirk thank you for your answer! Will be wating for the feature. Thx

Can you please fix Netflix casting to chromecast? Two builds ago it worked fine, but ever since you updated it, it no longer casts correctly. If I play anything from Netflix on Chromecast all I get is a black screen on the remote screen.

@Elliot Kirk - The "Paste and search" icon in the context menu is missing. This is what happens from the beginning. As well as some other icons in the context menu, such as "Select all" or "Past as plain text".

@Joel Yang Oh no, you're saying the yellow folder color is not staying?
07-14-2019 06:34 AM
@Speednet That's right, the yellow folder icon is from Chromium, and has been corrected. In fact, the folder icon has regressed to Chromium one before, but was fixed in Canary before going into Dev.
07-14-2019 06:39 AM
@Joel Yang That's terrible news, but thanks for the heads-up. The white icons are horrendous, making them extremely difficult to distinguish from generic "page" icons.

@MarsMas you can also hold down control when clicking any link to open it in a new tab. (this works in every browser I am aware of
