Copper Contributor

New install on Windows 10 1809.

Version 77.0.235.9 (Official build) beta (64-bit)

signed in Profile is Organizational AAD.

Attempting to import browser data ( in this case just selecting Favorites)

Sorry, we couldn't import your data

Happens for import from any of the browsers that are installed on this PC ( Chrome, Firefox and Edge).

is there something else that needs to happen first?

We are aware of some issues happening with Firefox importing, I have not seen any issues with Edge or Chrome importing yet.

When you where trying to import were all the browsers signed in and running?

I would also try and sign out of any browsers running, restart your computer, then sign into them again and try to Sync. (only the two browsers you would like to Sync in-between at the time).

The engineering team is working on the current Firefox issue though.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

Frank.

@V-FRROMEJust built a new pc, since 1903 is the latest ISO Microsoft provides, I'm about as up to date as I can be until 1909 is pushed out to everyone.

Microsoft Edge dev Version 79.0.287.3, Firefox 69.0.2

My data in firefox was restored via logged in profile sync, not traditional files backup/bookmarks.json/html etc. I wonder if in this circumstance, the firefox data is fully in the cloud and that's why it can't import? But if so, how can I get firefox to pull the data locally so Edge can import it?
