Start From Scratch not working as expected

Hey!

I've recently started using the Edge Preview. After installing you're asked whether you want to start with your data or from scratch.

When selecting "Start From Scratch" and hitting confirm the Favorites Bar is empty, but after completing the setup process the Bar gets filled with all my Bookmarks from the regular Microsoft Edge install, ignoring my previous selection.

In addition, the Reset settings option does not solve this issue. The bookmarks are still present.

 

Is this a known issues and are there any fixes or workarounds?

When you installed, had you enabled Sync on the new Browser? That may have brought your Favorites from the other Browser.
