While I understand the desire of Microsoft to protect their brand it would really help the user experience for adding new extensions by adding a link to the chrome extension store just below the Microsoft once the user has changed the "other store" setting to on.

Like most people I failed to click on the "learn more" so that I turned on the "other stores" and then nothing happened.  I had expected to see a list of other extension stores once I made the change.

If a user has chosen the new Edge browser hiding the chrome store link is not going to cause them to abandon Edge.

While Microsoft Edge Insider builds don't have a link directly to the Chrome Web Store, there is documentation to help with that:

Install a Chrome Web Store extension on Microsoft Edge for Windows and MacOS
