Mute tab hotspot issues

Brass Contributor

Unlike Chrome on Windows where the mute audio for a tab is next to the X to close the tab, Edge Chromium places the mute audio for the tab almost smack dab in the center of the tab when you have about 12 or so tabs open. When I started using Edge all of sudden the audio in a YouTube audio went mute. Checked YouTube mute button, Windows 10 mute and wound up rebooting computer. Only then did I discover that what I did was click in the middle of the tab to select it previously and it muted the audio in the feed accidentially! The ability to mute is fine but it should be placed a bit out of the way so that this does not become a common occurence.

That is a great feature request.  I'll be sure to let the product team know.

In the meantime, if you only have 12 Tabs open, you may want to use Ctrl+1 through Ctrl+8 for the first 8 tabs to get back to them and Ctrl+9 to get straight to the last one, with Ctrl+Tab or Ctrl+Shift+tab to cycle to the ones that you can't get straight to with a hotkey.
