This time I used 20 pages. (links at the end of this post)

They are the same 20 pages that I used in the test with Canary versions ( here )

Using:

Edge Dev Version 79.0.279.0 (Official build) dev (64-bit)

Chrome Dev Version 79.0.3921.0 (Official Build) dev (64-bit)

No extensions installed and no flags enabled.

My PC:
Windows 10 Build 1903 (build 18362.295)
16GB Ram

I run each browser separately.

This picture shows the results in the Task Manager after opening each browser and after clicking each page to refresh them:

As I am not taking a test by following the strict rules that specialized websites usually do, these values should not be considered as definitely correct.

It would be interesting if more people would perform this test on their computers using the same websites I used to check if they get different values.

Glad to see these tests. They're fascinating on a technological level. I'm on the Canary side of town so seeing the comparisons of "Dev" versions is nice (and educational).
