I pinned my frequently used web apps to the Start menu. Even though I made the new Edge Dev the default browser, the pinned web sites still open in the old Edge, when I click in the start menu. Is there a way to make them open in the new Edge Dev?

OK, I discovered the Apps feature, which is a replacement for the pinned sites from Edge. Well executed!

The apps feature works well as a quick way to pin a site to the Start menu.

As far as I can tell, in order to pin it to the taskbar you have to complete at least one additional step.

I hope the one step Pin to Taskbar will return as classic Edge features return.

Yes!

Navigate to the page you want in the new ChromEdge (My nickname) then go to : ... >more tools> Pin to Desktop.
Once on the Desktop, Right-Click to Pin to Start. It will now appear on your Start Menu.
Feel free to delete the desktop shortcut.
