History, Cache, etc ...

Hello

Is there an option to limit the cache size (for navigation, etc ...)
In 5mn, the User Data directory has increased by 300Mb, returned to normal by removing Cache, history, etc ... in Canary

I'm trying to go from Edge to Canary, but it's not easy when we're used

Thanks

"Chrome (and Chromium) use the folder to store files stored with the help of the File System API which is part of HTML5."

300MB is normal though. you can give this a shot:

Ok thanks

The HTLM5 asks for so much Cache ??
I found this for Chrome, it seems to work for Edge too (just the name of the registry key to change)
To put with other entries that we can have (UserFeedbackAllowed, etc ...)

- Open the Windows Registry by tapping on Windows-R, typing regedit and hitting the enter key.Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Edge
- Add the Dword DiskCacheSize with a right-click on Chromium and the selection of new > Dword (32-bit value) from the context menu.
- Give it a value in bytes.

Hello

Does the Disk Cache Size option work in edge://policy/ ?

I set for a size, but very often this size is exceeded
Or I may have been wrong with the value indicated in the registry

Thanks
