Does Edge Canary launch from your Sandbox?

Steel Contributor

At the beginning of May, I reported that I couldn't launch Edge Canary from inside the Windows Sandbox. Last week, I got an email from Microsoft that they were finally working on the bug. On the 4th of June, the bug seemed to finally be fixed for me. Could others try it and report here to let Microsoft know if the problem is finally wiped.

1- Launch the Windows sandbox

2- Use Edge classic to install Edge Canary

3- Launch Edge Canary

Did anything happen? Did it launch? Please report here. -- This is not a Microsoft request but a personal request. I want to be as helpful in bashing out the bugs as possible. This process is one such way to reach this goal.

@NicolSD - I ran on my personal desktop, did your steps listed, Canary does launch - eventually. While Dev runs right away, when I try Canary, it takes literally, about 3 to 4 minutes to open on the first run. Once it does open and run, it's right away from that point forward.

I've experienced this before with Canary on Sandbox, some builds work better than others, which would be expected. I'm also curious to others results.
