Does Delve not index/search the "Tag" field in file properties?

If in go into an Excel file, for example, and select the File menu in Excel 2016 there is a "Properties" section, which has the size, title, tag, and categories. We have put data in the TAG field and want to search by that. is that not supported?

That is not supported in Delve but it would be in SharePoint if you mapped the file property to Site Column, this will make it a "Managed Property" which can be used in many ways by SP Search. see https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Manage-the-search-schema-in-SharePoint-Online-D4FAB46D-BA41... to get started

Hmmm... thanks. I'll look at that. My keenest interest is using it in the Teams search box.

In playing around, it looks like the crawled property "Office 5" supports DocKeywords, and I added "keywords" to it too. (Not sure the diff between DocKeywords and Keywords)

But the "Include in full text index" box is grayed out and I cannot check it. 

Back on Managed Properties, the property "DocKeywords" is mapped to Office:5, but everything on that page is greyed out too.

I am a full admin of our tenant, so it isn't permission issues.
