Microsoft is aware of the following Daylight Saving Time (DST) changes for São Tomé and Príncipe for which Windows Updates will be made available over the next few months:
- Starting from January 01 2019 02:00 am, São Tomé moved from UTC+01:00 to UTC+00:00.
Microsoft Windows customers will see this change reflected in the “(UTC+01:00) Sao Tome” time zone in a future Windows update.

Interim Guidance:
Until an update is made available, we recommend our customers temporarily switch to time zone “(UTC) Coordinated Universal Time” as soon as possible. Selecting this time zone will reflect the correct current local time, but will not be correct for past events that occurred when São Tomé and Príncipe was using UTC+01:00. Therefore, we recommend returning to “(UTC+00:00) Sao Tome” after the update is applied.
