@thanos7 yes, you do have to increase the size of each file to get higher IOPS and throughput for that file. The 8TB limit only controls the total disk space you can consume on the instance.

@Dimitri_Furman We have already acquired 8 TB Premium disk for the Managed Instance. In order to increase the IOPs for each database do we have to alter the database and modify the size of the file ? Thanks in advance

One important thing to note when using the provided query to calculate the TotalBlobSizeGB used toward the 35TB limit...In-memory OLTP is not supported in the General Purpose Tier, which means that the eXtreme Transaction Processing (XTP) files are not used, even though they exist in sys.master_file...
