Another quick question, what are the proposed ways to replace "Proof-of-Work" since lots of people argue that wasted lots of energy and eventually leaving the miners to a privileged few.

Solution
There are quite a few different consensus algorithms being discussed. Some are much more geared towards public vs. private consortium networks. If you look at Quorum or Enterprise Ethereum you will see other types of consensus algorithms being used. One example is using voting schemes to drive consensus.

are you saying with this that we didn't quite figure this out yet and that enterprises that want to start today will need to go with POW instead?  As a followup question: if we're working on this, to what extent will this be proprietary or shared back with the community please?
