It seems appropriate that our first author bio published only on the new Tech Community platform is that of Ed Price. Ed is the CAT that keeps AzureCAT social media moving, not to mention managing the publication of all those Docs articles, white papers, e-books, and blog posts you love. He's also the guy that updates the blogs when new content is available, and he answers your questions when you post them on the AzureCAT Guidance Blog. Here's what you need to know about Ed Price.

Ed is an AzureCAT Program Manager and a Microsoft veteran of almost 14 years. In Ed's own words, "I work in the Product Growth Hack and customer advocacy facet of technology program management: (1) Community building, (2) Customer feedback (and product improvement), (3) Product adoption, and (4) Content publishing (architectural guidance). It's growth hacking from the engineering and product side of the fence." He's worked in a bevy of technologies while at Microsoft, including:

  • Azure
  • Power BI
  • Visual Studio
  • SQL Server
  • Excel
  • SharePoint
  • Windows
  • Surface
  • Microsoft mice, keyboards, and webcams

Education for Ed includes a BS in Business Management and an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, and an AA in Applied Arts from DigiPen Institute of Technology.

It would be quicker to post the content that Ed doesn't have a hand in than to try and post all of the content he's responsible for in some fashion. Here are a few of his publications he's most proud of:

Outside of Microsoft, teaching children to code is one of Ed's passions. He's published a book on the subject and helped create a workshop:

AzureCAT wants to thank Ed for his dedication to our customers and for making the Microsoft community a better and more productive place!
