Thank you @Sanjay-9_30 for your feedback. We do consider lifting some of these limits, but I do not have any timelines to share at the moment.

Agreed, for a truly unified Azure SQL experience, we would really want to see all of the flavors of SQL- DW, AAS, RS and eventually Power BI datasets. This would allow us to manage data across our enterprise subscription regardless of where it existed.

Is there any reason why SQL DataWarehouse resources are not also included? These resources are included when I view SQL Databases but are not included in a "Unified Azure SQL experience" ?

Currently this is not supported with TDE encrypted databases, unless you use the BYOK feature. Are there any plans to support COPY_ONLY backups for TDE databases in the future? At the moment we do not have a long-term storage option, as BYOK is still in preview & is easy to break at the moment.
