Experiencing Alerting failure for Log Search Alerts in East US Region

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 09/24, 11:30 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 09/24, 01:00 UTC and that during the 10 hours & 30 minutes that it took to resolve the issue 40% of customers experienced alert delivering latency in East US region.

• Root Cause: The failure was due to an issue in one of our back-end service.

We continue to investigate issues within Log Search Alerts. Root cause is not fully understood at this time. Some customers continue to experience issues with alerts not being delivered in East US region. We currently have no estimate for resolution.
