Experiencing Alerting failure for Log Search Alerts - 09/06 - Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 09/06, 15:15 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 09/06, 13:45 UTC and that during the 1 hours and 30 minutes that it took to resolve the issue 10% of customers using Log alerts which are configured in East US region might have experienced Alerting failure.

• Root Cause: The failure was due to issues with one of our backend services.
