Hi everyone. I'm still new to Azure and had one of our clients pose a question whether they can migrate a Windows Server 2012 running on the Google Platform into Azure?
I do know that Server 2012 can be imported into Azure, however not really sure about when it's hosted on the Google Platform.
Please advise?

Hi Tebza,
If you know this then Google Platform does not have facility to Export the Windows Server Image
https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/images/export-image
however if you get VHD file on your local System you can follow the Link to Import VHD to Azure.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/windows/upload-image

If you don't want to go through the stress of getting the VHD download and up to Azure. Kindly provision a smaller instance and use azure Site Recovery. You will treat the Server has a physical server and migrate it to Azure. That should ease off the over head of internet bandwidth.
