I've been working on tracking animals (fake ones, not real ones!) for an example project using a GPS device connected to Azure IoT Hub. I wanted to plot this data on an interactive map control shown on a web page, showing individual sightings as pins and continuous tracking as paths. I did this using Azure Maps, and wrote a blog post on how to show pins and paths:
