Beginner ideas to Log Analytics

Hi Guys / Girls

I am implementing Log Analytics and I would need your help and ideas. 

I want to make teams groups using TAGS to be able to monitor a set of Services. For example, Domain controller of all resources groups (Virtual Machine) which have created a "Domain Controller" tag.

I don´t know if it is the most effective not to create generic alerts, but to warn me if any specific service has down.

Not sure I fully understand the scenario, but is this data logged in Log Analytics today?

Are you asking for help regarding sending it to LA or about querying it?
