I am interested whether the default landing page - which an invited AAD guest user account is redirected to when the registration process is complete - can be customized? To be precise, I want to link SPO sites/document libraries to which they have access to on this landing page.
For a little context, AAD guest accounts are needed for numerous external users who want convenient access to a SPO site's document library. Followed the steps below:
- AAD admin center > new guest user creation > invitations are sent out
- Under SPO site's document library permissions > add the invited guest users to given groups
- That way, guest users get two emails, one for guest account invitation, another with the direct link for the document libraries.
- With the first email, users complete registration and get directed to "https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/r#/applications" by default, where they cannot see any resources they have access to, it's just an empty page with no "apps" or "groups" available. That's where I would want to link the Document Libraries for them.
I understand that with the second email, they can directly access the DocLib & they can save it as a bookmark but if there is a way to link them on the landing page, that's even better.
But that way, would not everyone in the company see that same custom tile under the App launcher as well? That's something we would like to avoid. (e.g. curious users would probably click on them, get an access denied error and contact Helpdesk for no reason)
Also it seems that by default, invited guest users won't really get access to any of the apps, so the custom admin selected tiles / apps won't appear either, as seen on the screenshot below.
