The Office International Community is a place for avid users of Microsoft Office Applications, Services & Content who are passionate about their language.
We, the Office International team, are responsible for delivering localised versions of Office Applications, Services and Content in up to 100 plus languages.
We run regular competitions by guiding our members to recently localised Office applications, services or features so you can share your experience or frustrations with us and help us improve the quality of our international releases.
We will also share information about our teams latest releases and language offerings.
We encourage our members to report and discuss ad hoc language issues they find when using localised versions of Office Applications, Services & Content.
We will investigate what members report to us, reporting back on progress and closing the loop with the final decision and reasons supporting it. These will appear in the each of the Dashboards we have created.
If we feel anything posted in our group does not sit within our remit to answer or address we will endeavour to move it to the most appropriate community on Tech Community or let the right people in Microsoft know about it.
Our two discussion spaces (Report Translation Issues and Competitions) and Blog will be monitored regularly by moderators across the Office International team. What happen in these different places?
Competitions: This is where we host our monthly competitions or sweepstakes. It is where our community members can enter our competitions or sweepstakes by starting a conversation and giving us feedback on a specific Office application, service or content type the monthly competition is focused on. If you report something to us in our competitions discussion forum then you can always check the Competition Power BI Dashboard for a status of what you reported.
Report Translation Issues : This is where members of our community can give us ad hoc suggestions on how to improve any localised Office application, service or content type. If you report something to us in this space then you can always check the Report Translation Issue Power BI Dashboard for a status of what you reported.
Office International Blog : This is where we advertise our competitions and also let people know who won previous competitions or sweepstakes. It is also where we tell you about our latest languages releases, products and features when they release.
