I save the Access file I was working on, did Compact and Repair then saved to backup (on a USB).
The file has only around 400 records with maybe 80 fields and maximum 2Kb data plus one low-res photo per record.
I then attempted to reopen the file and received this message:
The query cannot be completed. Either the size of the query result is larger than the maximum size of a database (2GB) or there is not enough temporary storage space on the disk to store the query result.
The same message came when I tried to load the backup,
What I have done differently from usual is that I needed the input form to be in alphabetical order so linked the form to an alphabetical query using Property Sheet / data/ Record Source.
Some kind person please help
