Customer Voice Personalization variables are currently used to store personalized information related to a specific respondent for the survey. This information is useful for reporting etc.
There is currently a limitation in that the personalized variable information is only stored in Azure. Whilst it is visible within Dynamics 365 and customer voice service web app, there is no schema for this data to be stored. This means that if you wish to perform PowerBI reporting, you will need create a connection to your D365 environment AND also create another data source to excel containing an export of the survey results (which includes the personalized variables information).
It would be much more efficient if the personalized variable information was stored directly within D365 as part of the schema to be able to fully utilize OOTB reporting and extended PowerBI reporting.
Thank you for your consideration.
