      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In my organiztion working with VDI workstations , the settings in the Skype is not saved&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tired to save the registry value in this location :&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync&lt;BR /&gt;HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And folder in this location :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AppData\Roaming\Skype\RootTools&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But is doesn't work , i have also the&amp;nbsp; "Dynamic Environment Manager" but i dont know where is the Setting location saved , the most importent is the Volume that change every logout and login to station&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can someone can help my with that , Thanks in advance&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am hoping someone can help with this one.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are removing the old cyphers from a customers inhouse Skype for Business 2015 implementation, but we have come across a problem. We used iiscrypto to remove the old cyphers on the edge, proxy and skype server and they seemed to work okay, but we then heard from the customer to say the phones aren't connecting in to the Skype Server.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only way we have managed to resolve this is to roll back to use the old cyphers, can anyone help me to remove the old cyphers and keep the clients working?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Client - Skype for Business 2016 (16.0.5065.1000)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Server - Skype for Business 2015 (6.0.9319.548)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;alamb200&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Par erreur j'ai activé la fonction "Skype pour Entreprise"...(en croyant atteindre mon compte skype normal)...ayant vu que celà ne me concerne pas, et ne pouvant me créer un compte sur ce type de Skype, j'ai cliqué sur l'icone pour a supprimer...ce qui m'a envoyer sur la page des désinstallation des programmes...mais SKYPE Entreprise ne s'y trouve pas...impossible a le désactiver...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ce n'est pas catastrophique, mais j'ai skype entreprise qui se lance a chaque connexion de mon PC. et il faut 3 minute à chaque fois pour fermer toutes les fenêtre me concernant.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Le support technique de Microsoft m'envoie ici...qui peut m'aider SVP.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

After the call I uninstalled SfB application, but it still shows up in&amp;nbsp;System Preferences --&amp;gt; Security &amp;amp; Privacy --&amp;gt; Privacy tab, the app still shows up in the Location Services section. How can I get that removed? Therefore, the provider for this number is SKYPE/MICROSOFT.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have read bunch of articles and tutorials on how to port a number to teams, however this (wheatear done by automated wizard in office of send manually to PSTN service desk) requires a lot of information that I don't have. I read on Microsoft documentation MFA can be done using Azure AD and ADFS. Is it possible to configure it using any external IDP or federation server sitting on premise without using Azure AD(Cloud).       <description>&lt;P&gt;So, I'm in one of the sovereign MS365 cloud instances and we are transitioning from Skype for Business online to Teams. in the Teams Upgrade window there is a "Notify Skype for Business users that an upgrade to Teams is available" switch. When it is turned on, Skype displays a blue banner at the top with a "Try it" button. With the "Download the Teams all in the background for Skype for Business users" switch turned on, if a user clicks the "Try it" button before the client install has been downloaded to their machine, it will launch a browser and send the user to the public teams site (teams.microsoft.com). This will cause an error when the user tries to login. Is there any registry or file that can be changed to cause the 'Try it" button to redirect the user to the appropriate sovereign cloud's URL?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I only see them when I open the app up.       <description>&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;have been using Skype for Business Web app to connect with my clients who use the Business App.&amp;nbsp; For many months now there have been no issues.&amp;nbsp; As of November 30th or December 1st - I now get that error on both a Chrome and Edge browser on my Windows 10 based PC.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I worked with HP Laptop support and they updated everything including the BIOS to no avail.&amp;nbsp; Has something changed in Skype that is now causing this issue and is there a solution to it.&amp;nbsp; Also can I use my personal Skype account to connect to a Skype Business meeting?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;I can successfully log into the call but I continuously get this error.&amp;nbsp; I shut down the browser, restarted it, restarted the computer and all failed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;I would appreciate some assistance or a solution!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="skype issue 1.png" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/237808i19425BB5A0E565D4/image-size/large?v=1.0&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="skype issue 1.png" alt="skype issue 1.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

All was working well until around 2 weeks ago. When a colleague sends me any form of attachment via SFB, SFB on my iPhone then starts ringing. It shows on my iPhone that the person who's trying to send an attachment is trying to call me. If i try to answer the call it sits on connecting and doesn't do anything which i guess is expected as the colleague never initiated a phone call. The attachments sent are received fine on my laptop.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On my laptop i'm using O365 SFB.       <description>&lt;P class="x-hidden-focus"&gt;Hi, I work on a Helpdesk and use Skype For Business to open a daily IM chat in Skype every morning.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know how to create a group and open a group chat from this but I need to give the chat a name that everyone can see to differentiate it from any other group chats.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="x-hidden-focus"&gt;The only way I have found to do this is to open a new mail in Outlook, make it To someone in the group, create a chat title in the Subject field, click in the empty body of the email, hover over the name in the To field and select the IM icon to open a Skype chat.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I then add all the other users to the chat one at a time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This seems a long and tedious way to do this every day.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So my question is, is there a faster way to do this with a few clicks?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Being able to give the chat a title "Group Chat All Teams" is vital for my query.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Many thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mark&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The program then can make sense of the chat input and save information like this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;15 people voted yes&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;8 people votes no&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;List of people that voted yes:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Name, Name; Department, Timestamp&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Name Name; Department, Timestamp&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;List of people that voted no:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;Name, Name; Department, Timestamp&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did not find anything that would let me do this. I am using obs to stream to Skype business using the virtual camera plugin. I would like to somehow connect stream elements with chat input from skype business in any way. Or have a completely autonomous solution for this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;Skype Business 2016 (16.0.5.5065.1000)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;Maybe&amp;nbsp; think of it similar to streamelements and twitch chat.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P class=""&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have the following issue:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When logging into my Skype for Business account at work (from my companies domain network) or from a mobile hotspot, everything works nicely. However, at home from my private WiFi, I am unable to log in and SfB is stuck on the "Contacting server and signing in" page forever. This holds true with or without VPN to my companies domain.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I followed basically every step that I could find in forums, ... that did not require admin rights (because I don't have them). This includes deleting sign-in infos and sips, or setting connection to manual.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As I suspect my WLAN to block some kind of necessary traffic here, I opened several ports on my network, so far without any success:&lt;BR /&gt;TCP 80, 443&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;UCP 3478-3481&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What else can/should I do or which settings do I have to use for my network?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When asking my admin, all I was told was that "he could not set up my own WiFi", which is probably correct...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thx&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;After iOS 14 update the skype for business app has has a weird behavior. When in a conference call some of the buttons won't correctly show up on the screen. Also when in a call or conference you lock the screen, the Skype buttons don't show up, it shows a control widget similar to the one that controls&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;music (pictures attached).       <description>&lt;P&gt;We have Skype for Business hybrid in place and Exchange Hybrid in place.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Skype for Business 2015&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Exchange 2016&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have setup Skype for Business online oauth with Exchange On-premise setup, so our SfB online users can record voicemail greetings.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have found only our SfB online users configured with our on-premise primary email domain can record their voicemail greeting out other users with different domains cannot as the voicemail change greetings button in the sfb client is greyed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have&amp;nbsp; tried moving them from Islands mode to Teams only and when they record their voicemail greeting in Teams it does not save the voicemail.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Their mailbox is on-premise, but as part of testing I have moved their mailbox online and it records fine. We do not want to migrate users mailboxes to Exchange Online yet, so need to get this working for these none-primary domains whilst their mailbox is on-premise, but their sfb account is online.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas what could cause this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Some of them still show as busy or available, some of them show as presence unknown. However when I try to phone, message them etc, they all show as presence unknown. When I left the office on Friday, they were having problems with Skype then, If we phoned each other it was showing as presence unknown, because they were changing our e-mail address's on outlook. When internal attendees joined their individual skype meeting invites, they were also accessing other on-going skype meetings, but was waiting in the lobby to be admitted? I open the skype meeting then once the trainer has shared screen hit the record button - to get a full video recording of the training.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Issue:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once the recording has finished some recordings are only showing audio only (which isn't much use) and no video - It says "At this point in the meeting, no one was presenting or sharing video" even though I'd clearly been through the training and seen everything on the Trainers screen.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sometimes it works and I get video as well as audio and other times audio only (again which is no use)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can someone advise if I'm missing something simple or if this is a known glitch with skype.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cheers,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;J&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Good Day.&amp;nbsp; Recently we have been asked to **bleep** another SIP domain to our environment and that's all ok,&amp;nbsp; BUT When I get a new Digicert for my AV WEB and CONF services on my edges outbound calls start to fail.&amp;nbsp; They will ring through to the endpoint but then sit in skype connecting call for 15 seconds then drop.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;The cert chain all tests ok and uses the same intermediate and root from digicert and the only other change other than thumbprint and all that is the new SAN.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have applied the cert and reboot the edges and my client and really no errors pop up in event logs I do see in the reporting server the calls get a error 23&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas from the group?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

When I look in the recording manager, I see our meeting under title, status "ausstehend" (= upcoming?!), size and length are 0. I'm sure that I did everything right when I recorded it. And think that Skype for Business will usually be able to provide the file within 20 hours as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How can I get the recording now??? If this is available for 30 days and stored in some cloud with you, it must somehow still be possible to receive it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It would be really important! Cuando el profesor comparte su pantalla, generalmente comparte su escritorio y abre archivos Excel, no puedo verlos desde mi ordenador en ninguna de las dos aplicaciones, he probado instalar/desinstalar ambos y aún así no funciona.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;La pantalla queda con un cartel de "Cargando". Uninstall Skype for Business Meetings app, then join a meeting and reinstall this add-in. DONE&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Adjust PC display settings, set Scale and layout to 100% (recommended) and resolution to recommended value, restart PC and only launch Skype Meetings app to test it. DONE&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Update PC graph drivers as well as other drivers to see if it can make any difference. DIDN"T DO&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Use a different network as sometime issue can be caused by specific network.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am giving an online talk and need the viewers to see both the video of myself and my powerpoint presention side by side the same size.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I figured out how to do this in regular skype but have learnt that the client is using Skype For Business and during our tech run we couldn't get it to work.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I can't experiment my end as I am not a subscriber to that service.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can anyone tell me how to do this in Skype For Business? I have attached a screen shot of what I need being done in regular Skype.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Many thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Matt&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;P.S. Also any ideas if I can subribe to Skype For Business for a month reasonably cheaply so I can have a play with it before hand?       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;(It was requested that I move this post over from the "consumer" Skype questions to business).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a small business, its just me and I have no dedicated phone system. I've started using teams (as part of my MS365 account with my dedicated domain name) and it appears to be beneficial for me to have a Skype number so that I can call landlines etc. and not use my mobile number all the time. So which is the right solution for me? When I launch teams or turn on my Mac it immediately launched Skype Business. When I look at the “Skype Business” portion of the website it appears to say that Skype for Business is now directly part of Teams and if one wants to use a Skype number then there is all this talk about integrated phone system hardware which is far more than what my business needs right now. Will a standard (personal/consumer?) Skype number integrate with teams and be enough for me to use or am I entirely missing something with the business aspect of Skype in connection with my account? The big difference is, as I see it, the lack of voicemail in the personal/consumer version. But I don't understanding how that would work in a "business" version if there is no PBX phone system. In either case my assumption is that I need to get a dedicated &amp;nbsp;number via Skype.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Skype for Business: Auto logs in using old work login</title>

I want to stop it automatically logging and and clear my old work login so that when I have a new work login, I can use it again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please note I have left that&amp;nbsp; organisation and am thus not able to login using that login.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The auto login is so fast, probably less than 2 seconds - I cannot action anything.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a fully paid for Microsoft account on&amp;nbsp; my home computer, and need to be able to work remotely using S4B with other orgs during COVID.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Skype for Business attempts to login using my old work login and gets stuck on a white screen. I have to ctrl-alt-del and end task every time to get rid of it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have spent a lot of time trying to find a solution and hope this community can please help me.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Skype for Business, Office 365</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;One of the client updated to Office 365 recently by herself using upgrade made available to software center by enterprise admin. Previously she was using Office 2010. She successfully upgraded to office 365 and is able to use word, excel, outlook and other products without any issues. But Skype for Business is giving trouble&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. The send button is missing. It doesn't matter if you make the chat window as large as the computer screen itself&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. The chat area is all blank. when IM is sent to her notification pops up but there is nothing in the chat window. she can send IM by pressing enter key but the send arrow is missing&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As part of the trouble shooting&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The office 365 install was repaired&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Tested lync.exe from both the install location and shortcut it opens up without any issues&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The users lync sips were deleted&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The computer is windows 10 and 64 bits so is the office 365&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;signing in with a test account and using skype shows normal behaviour&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The computer was restarted twice&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The user signed in and out of skype multiple times&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The user is able to find other users in skype&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;What could be causing the issue?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
