We just bought Jabra Evolve 2 65 MS teams certified headsets for our office and the teams button doesn't answer/end calls. It just clicks. Going through forums, its quite clear that this is as microsoft issue. This is really poor form from Microsoft. Have we just wasted few thousand dollars ?? Can someone from Microsoft please comment and suggest a solution ?

Casting doesn't seem to work with iOS devices and the Surface Hub. Is that supposed to work with the Surface Hub? It does see it and when I click connect, if sends a message and I click the message and nothing shows.

I would like to expand on that to indicate when an enhancement depends on an Admin taking a specific step. Just a quick "[Requires meeting policy to include x, y, and now z}" would be helpful.

Hi @attila more guidance will be announced soon for OnPrem experience and migration after retirement. Very high level no impact on OnPrem users after SfBO retirement, after that you will be able to migrate to TeamsOnly mode directly and we will take care of the needed processes in the backend to assist that migration.

Hi @Anil please work with poly to confirm if there is any firmware upgrade available for devices, if not we encourage you to upgrade the devices to Teams compatible devices. If the devices are not compatible with Teams it will work with minimal features (voice) but we cant guarantee (support) the performance in this case

We are experiencing issues with developers we are collaborating with. They are invited to our Teams channel as "Guests", but when they try to log in into the Jira Cloud connector, they get the following error message:

"Your Microsoft email domain is not correctly configured. Please contact your Microsoft administrator."

Is this because guests cannot work with the Tab for Jira in a Teams channel?

No impact on Skype OnPrem users neither Skype consumer, if there is no remaining users on OnPrem you need to decommission hybrid and point DNS record to online, more guidance for hybrid will be released very soon as mentioned in the last paragraph.

Invite-only meeting options
A new meeting setting is now available in Teams meeting options that automatically sends those who were not originally invited by the organizer to the lobby. For example, if an invitee forwards a meeting invitation to a colleague, when that person tries to join, they’ll be directed to wait in the lobby until the host selects to admit them. Polls in Teams meetings has advanced capabilities for expanded options, intelligent suggestions and analytics
Attendees and guest attendees on mobile devices can now participate in Polls in Teams meetings. Also, discover intelligent poll suggestions to prepare relevant poll questions quickly and analyze responses to take swift action post-meeting. Learn More

Enhanced meeting creation and expiration policies
For added security and compliance, Teams meetings and join links are disabled for users whose scheduling permissions have been revoked. Previously, a user could continue to reuse their old meeting join links after their scheduling capabilities have been disabled. This policy update automatically expires those old meeting links so they can’t be reused.

Improvements to audio permissions settings for attendees
As a meeting presenter and organizer, you can now manage attendee audio permissions with greater flexibility. Attendees no longer need to request to speak for you to allow them to unmute, and you also have the ability to prevent individual attendees from unmuting. Learn more

External presenter support for Live Events
For Live Events created in Teams, you can allow anonymous users who do not have an Microsoft Service Account (MSA) or Azure Active Directory (AAD) identity to be a presenter. This makes it easier for people outside of your organization to deliver presentations for your Live Events. Learn more

Producer Management in Teams Live Events
You can now manage a live event as a Producer in a separate Teams window, so you can simultaneously support the event, while still collaborating with others on Teams.

Custom Backgrounds on iOS for Teams meetings
Custom backgrounds are now available on iOS. Select from Microsoft provided backgrounds or one of your own directly from your iOS mobile device. Now you can make your video meetings more fun and personal while you’re on the go. Learn more

Teams casting from Android and iOS Teams App
For quick ad-hoc meetings that don’t require a formal scheduled meeting, users can leverage Teams casting to wirelessly connect to a Teams Room and display content from their mobile device. Users can broadcast their screen and share content stored locally on their device or accessible via Teams or OneDrive. Learn more

Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows updates
Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows, version 4.8.19.0, is available in the Teams Admin Center. The latest update includes:

Improved meeting join experience – Customers using Advanced Threat Protection safe link service can now reliably offer external users a seamless meeting join experience. Organizations using a third-party URL rewrite service just need to add teams.microsoft.com domain to their exception list.

Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android updates

Center of room meeting console support - Meeting participants can now control the center of room touch control console the same way they do on Windows devices, using directional keys to navigate. The touch console includes calendar functionality to view current and upcoming meetings, ability to view participants or add more, and features the most common meeting and calling functionalities. Currently available with Poly TC8 and Yealink CTP18 devices.

Improved display experience in Microsoft Teams Rooms

Get a full view of a conference room’s daily schedule, join a meeting, and interact with common features like calling—right from the easy-to-navigate, front of-room display screen.

Join meetings from the room console in personal mode

Bring more Microsoft Teams Rooms experiences to meetings by signing in with your personal credentials and navigating from the center-of-room touchscreen console. From the console, you can apply background effects, record the meeting, and initiate whiteboarding to share with both in room and remote participants.

Intelligent detection and remediation for Microsoft Teams Rooms
The service in Microsoft Teams Rooms Premium uses Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to provide advanced threat protection capabilities that can detect incidents, vulnerabilities, and missing security KBs. The service will take action based on these detections to apply necessary updates, keeping your rooms secure and ready to go. Learn more

Microsoft and Surface Accessories Certified for Teams

Additionally, we have the first Surface audio device certified for Teams. Chat and collaboration

Product feedback tool in Microsoft Teams

We are here to listen for your feedback. Teams automatically reviews the feedback that you submit, and provide help documentation related to the topic, if available. Additionally, once enabled by Teams administrator, you have the option to share your email address when submitting feedback in Teams, to allow for Microsoft to follow-up with you.

Windows 10 native notifications in Teams

You can now choose the style of your notifications: built-in Teams or Windows native notifications. The latter brings a suite of benefits, like respecting focus assist mode which enables you to avoid distracting notifications when you need to focus, and integrating with Windows 10 action center to helps you review your notifications in one place. If you have a Windows build 10.0.17763.288 or higher, you can make this change in Teams notifications settings.

Visual update to Microsoft Teams mobile app on Android and iOS
The Teams mobile app has a new visual look and feel that delivers new headers, icons, and styling along with the ability to automatically switch to dark theme when you set your device to dark.

Organize chats in mobile app
In the Teams mobile app, you are now able to pin chats and filter the Chat list. This is great for when you quickly want to get back into important conversations! Pinned chats are also rolling out on Android shortly.

Emoji library and GIFs in mobile app on Android and iOS
In the Teams mobile app, there is an expanded library of emojis, and the ability to trim GIFs directly in the app.

Management

Preconfigured website tab in Team Templates
As an admin you can now add a URL of their choice to the website tab in a team template. When the end-user creates a team using the pre-built template, it will include the preset website you specified, making it easier to distribute standardized content to the entire organization. End-users can access important web resources, such as company sites, commonly visited pages, online documents, from their team with minimal manual set up.

App customization and branding
With the app customization and branding capability, app developers are able to specify if they want to provide the option for their customers to customize the app. If the developers provide this option, admins are able to customize app properties like app name, descriptions, icons and more to deliver a branded app experience right within Teams.

Teams user usage report in Teams client
The Teams user usage report provides you a view into your Teams activities and usage. You can generate insights and metrics on a per-team and cross-team basis to understand your interaction with peers and across the organization. The reports are generated with privacy in mind, so only you can your own data.

Anonymous user usage reports
As a Teams admin you have the option to anonymize user data, protecting user privacy while viewing, downloading, sharing, and accessing the Teams usage report data. Once enabled, personally identifiable information like username, email addresses, and Active Directory IDs are anonymized.

Custom policy packages
Custom policy packages enable Teams admins to configure their own set of policy packages tailored to users with similar roles in their organization. We have also added the capability to assign policy packages to a group so you can assign multiple policies to a group of users.

Frontline worker

Time Clock APIs
New APIs (Application Programming Interface) for Time Clock allows integrations into your organization’s Time & Attendance system. to enable rules for how early or late someone can clock-in/out and new processes like a health screening survey that must be completed before clocking-in for the day. Shift Settings & Permissions
With the Teams Shifts Policy, an organization can now allow users who aren’t the owner of a Teams site to be able to edit and manage Shift schedules, approve swaps, and authorize time off requests. This enables you as a managers or supervisor to have schedule ownership without having to be the owners of the entire Teams site, reducing instances of accidentally deleting or modifying the Teams site. Enhanced tasks publishing capabilities
We have enhanced task publishing so operations and corporate teams can more clearly manage and plan their task distribution to frontline locations. As a member of a publishing team you can now see separate Drafts, Published, and Unpublished sections to easily see which task lists are at which stage of their lifecycle. We've also made it easier to see the impact of publishing tasks at a glance with an updated summary that displays the number of tasks and the number of recipient teams, so you can easily confirm that everything looks right before sending. Government

These features currently available to Microsoft’s commercial customers in multi-tenant cloud environments are now rolling out to our customers in US Government Community Cloud (GCC), US Government Community Cloud High (GCC-High), and/or United States Department of Defense (DoD).

Manage meeting options
Organizers are now able to modify the user experience across desktop, mobile, and web by using the new Meeting Options to customize their meeting safety and security settings. Meeting Options can be accessed in the Teams meeting invitation details in Outlook and Teams Calendar. Available in GCC-High.

Improvements to audio permissions settings for attendees

New way to update the Teams Rooms app
You can now use Teams meetings and calling functionality in your Teams Rooms on Windows. IT Admins can easily perform a manual update. Simply download and run an offline app update PowerShell script to your Teams Rooms devices. Follow the steps in this article to get started. Available in GCC-High.

Out of Office Setting
Let others know that you are not available by scheduling your Out of Office in Teams. During this time, your presence status changes to "Out of Office" and your status message is displayed when someone reaches out to you via chat. Additionally, your Outlook calendar and automatic replies are updated accordingly. Available for GCC.

Skype for Business Online retires July 31, 2021 – here’s what to expect

As we approach the retirement of Skype for Business Online, we want to take a moment to appreciate the efforts organizations are making to complete their transitions to Teams prior to July 31, 2021, as well as those who have already upgraded to Teams. Thank you! If you still have Skype for Business Online users, keep working your upgrade plan. Regardless of the technical and change management dynamics with your upgrade, you can accomplish so much over the next three months.

What to expect as Skype for Business Online retires?

Skype for Business Online will be fully functional through July 31, 2021 to allow customers time to transition users to Teams or to an instance of Skype for Business Server. Here are some other details you should know about the Skype for Business Online service retirement:

Services that integrate with Skype for Business Online will not be supported beyond the July 31, 2021 retirement. This includes support for third-party audio conferencing providers (ACP), Skype for Business Online Cloud Connector Edition (CCE), hybrid voice configurations, and Skype Meeting Broadcast.
Customers will not be able to move online users out of Teams Only mode after retirement.
Coexistence modes enable customers to operate Skype for Business Server/Teams side-by-side experiences until they are ready to move users to Teams Only.
Users can be moved directly from Skype for Business Server to Teams Only after configuring Skype for Business hybrid with Microsoft 365 or Office 365.

Microsoft-assisted upgrades to Teams

In the coming weeks, we’ll begin scheduling Microsoft-assisted upgrades to Teams for Skype for Business Online customers with cloud-only or hybrid deployments. Assisted upgrades help with last-mile technical steps of the transition to Teams. Customers will be notified through the Teams admin center and the Microsoft 365 Message Center, 90 days prior to the scheduled date of their assisted upgrade. Customers tracking to complete their transitions to Teams Only prior to their scheduled automated upgrade date are encouraged to do so for better control over the timing of their upgrade experience.

The duration of each customer's upgrade will vary by volume of users and characteristics of their deployment, but generally users within a tenant will be upgraded within 24 hours from the start of the upgrade. During this time, users will still be able to access Skype for Business Online. Once the upgrade has completed and users log out of Skype for Business Online, they will only be able to use Teams to initiate and receive messages and calls as well as to schedule and host meetings. These users will be able to join a Skype for Business meeting scheduled by a user on Skype for Business Server or in a federated organization.

When the assisted upgrade completes, the coexistence mode for upgraded users is set to Teams Only. Admins should review Teams Only mode considerations prior to upgrade. Learn more about Microsoft-assisted upgrades to Teams.

Lot's of great updates, but the one I'm watching out for every month is to disable the View more links for every message.

Hiding message content by default is a really poor user experience.

Good report with some detail. But what "AI" (maybe some cloud smell) sense really presented here? 14kbps (10 year ago) is really low code rate. Now it cut into half. But as we all known the data points if get get lost, will have different consequence during transmission, over-air wireless in particular case, the time jitter and hopping between nodes cause audio quality of the track a lot. That is not intended effects. So wideband in freq domain vs time jit in domain for conversation type of channel has two aspects requirements. Jit and network blocking really matters. If for movie transmission, more room is on video side. Not sure how many power consumption for codec operation side, for mobile device, too complicate computing means less time to talk due battery.

New Diagnostic: Missing Teams Meeting Recording

Our team has just released a new diagnostic, Teams Meeting Missing Recording. Thanks to for coding this one up!

With the ongoing shift of Teams Meeting Recording storage from Stream to OneDrive SharePoint, sometimes a Meeting Recording file can become misplaced. We discuss some known issues and troubleshooting options in the following Article: Issues with Meeting Recordings

This new Diagnostic can find missing Meeting Recordings in the event they are lost or misplaced. To access the Diagnostic in your M365 Admin Portal, type Diag: Missing Recording into the Need Help or New Service Request description box:

Notice that the Diagnostic requires a Meeting Join URL, one way to get that is from the Meeting details page in the Teams client. Find the Meeting Chat, then click on the three lines top right:

And then you can copy the link:

From there, you simply need the Date the meeting occurred. Note that we only keep Meeting Recording telemetry for 30 days, so if the meeting recording is older than 30 days, you'll need to try one of the manual methods in the troubleshooting article linked above.

Enter your meeting join URL and date in YYYY-MM-DD format:

And then click on Run Tests. In my case, here is the result:

And this indicates that my Meeting Recording was saved to OneDrive, and provides a link to our troubleshooting article with instructions on how to go find it in OneDrive. The Diagnostic can detect if the user's storage is still Stream as well, and those instructions (how to find the recording file in Stream) are there too. For this example, here's where I found my missing recording:

Default setting is to request PoE so that we don't ask for more PoE budget than needed. But when adding the accessories, we need more than what PoE can give us in some cases so then we need to ask for PoE+ from the switch.

Thanks to your help the LED lightbar is now working for me

SSH still wasn't working, and further to conversation with Crestron, it seems 3 failed logins blocks your IP for 24 hours. I think my attempts yesterday using PuTTY GUI and just the Crestron IP address must have blocked my PC IP (wasn't getting prompted for username or password, just connection error). When I tried again today using putty.exe -ssh admin@IP from another PC this worked ok and I was able to run POEPLUS ON and reboot... and light appeared!

For reference, we are using HPE Aruba PoE switches, not sure why we need the POEPLUS ON command, but very grateful for your assistance with this.

I need to analyze the data generated by MS Teams Room and automatically trigger a flow whenever a device is down or not behaving as expected to proactively fix in case of any issues.

Also need the data to show reports in powerBi. So that people who are monitoring could also proactively figure out if something is going fishy.

Please guide on how to achieve that.

Some good stuff here. Can we pause though and just fix basic chat? Incoming personal chats need to automatically pop out. As discussed at length on techcommunity, many people just miss most chat requests right now. I can't interrupt my work constantly to check what's bolded and Recent Chats. I also can't react to every pop up in the corner of my screen (which I may not even see because I'm not looking at my screen). And the activity notifications include every post in every Team and every meeting chat I'm in - there's no way I can read all that and personal chats get mixed into that and get lost. "Pop out incoming chats" should be standard functionality.

Sorry my mistake , as Patrik points out, the command is POEPLUS ON (to turn it on). The panel should accept a connection via SSH (putty or Mac Terminal for example)

When will teams allow users to block folks? this was good feature in skype to block harassing coworkers and also other parties while being able to collaborate with everyone else.

you should be able to SSH onto the IP-address of the device. Standard IP address 22 should do it.

There is also a tool called Crestron Toolbox that can log on to the device in a similar way but your dealer need to help you with that.

I ran the commands on one of our panels and it produced the following output:

just ran "ssh admin@ipaddress" to the device (it is a TS-1070 but the procedure is the same)

We did try Crestron support via our reseller but they weren't very helpful with these problems unfortunately.

But on the plus side we've created a new Android compliance policy so the devices now appear in TAC (our fault for using the existing policy for the Poly hardware, which is Android 8.1 and we needed an Android 9 policy as well)

We're on the correct firmware version you suggested, however once in the TAC we were prompted to update the Teams application on the Crestron and doing so fixed the issue of the booking schedule being one hour out compared to the actual time on the clock. Interesting that checking for an application update via the Crestron web interface it said it was already up to date, but not the case according to the TAC.

We still have the problem of the LED light bar not working. But I don't seem to be able to SSH onto the Crestron IP to try the POPPLUS command, and I can't see any obvious setting to enable/disable SSH??? Did you mean SSH onto the Crestron, or were you referring to the switch?

I have the same issue with an Evolve 2 65. When I disconnect the Link 380 and reseat it, I get a purple status light and I can use the Teams button. After a call, the status light goes blue instead of purple, indicating it's just on a bluetooth connection and doesn't recognise the Teams integration, and the button stops working for Teams features. In fact, today, it got even worse and every time I make or receive a call Teams will crash with a "sorry we encountered a glitch" that I've traced back to the Jabra Link 380 dongle. Next call I make is fine, and then it breaks on a consistently repeatable cycle

Fastest way for support on the devices is contacting your supplier or Crestron directly.

Is the device running the correct firmware? It should be 1.003.0082.001. I've noticed that the time policy from TAC does not apply to the panel, you have to set it on the panel itself. Also do you have any policies blocking Android versions?

As for the lightbar, if you SSH into the device and issue the command POEPLUS enable and then reboot. Does the light come on?

Traditional Live Events allow us to run presentations and meetings without too much interaction. Got two Crestron TSS-770 devices for testing in advance of rollout of MTRs, however having similar problem to @PeterDevalez where the devices do not appear in TAC (no devices in the Teams Panels section). When signing in as the MTR resource account it runs through device registration and company portal steps ok, but the device is missing from TAC. Poly X50 collaboration bars and the Touch Control 8 devices all appear ok.

Need the devices in TAC so we can apply a cfg policy to set the time zone as the calendar schedule on the panel doesn't seem to be using daylight saving, and it's 1 hour out compared to the clock displayed in the top left of the panel.

Also not managed to get the LED light bar to work yet

I second . Several employees in our org have noticeable echo in Teams meetings which do not exist in Zoom. This is pushing many of our users away from Teams and over to Zoom.

@HansvanderZande We have the samerandom issue with X50's not sending Video to the meeting participants. Video is only displayed locally on the screen in the room. Poly VideoOS 3.3.2-286154.

Also we have had a few issues where the user has ended the meeting on the TC8 but the camera was still active on the screen in the room. The system did not end the correctly and did not displayed the Teams picture and Room meeting agenda/times. Power on/off seems to be the option.

I'll see if I can get back to 3.3.1

@SandhyaRao @Jeff_Schertz - Positive. The new look and you have moved the controls to the TC8 - it's really good. Makes control easier for the users.

I've installed this in MS Teams yesterday. Since then, it's properly notified the channel of 4-5 commits.

This morning it didn't register a commit. As a test, I did another commit and it picked up this second commit fine.

... anyone else noticing intermittent issues with registering a commit?

Hi I've reported that issue about the time setting via TAC etc not applying so I think it's being investigated.

As for a list of improvements, there are many features to come, I can't share anything that isn't on a public roadmap, but updates are coming to bring new features to the Teams panels.

Hi That is the correct way to update. I successfully updated my panel that way.

As for the clock, you need to set that on the panel itself to take effect. Settings > Device Settings > Admin Settings > Time and Date

While generating an approval through Power Automate (using "Create an Approval"), I'm able to notify approvers with both the card in Teams and an email. In many cases, execs don't monitor their notifications in Teams as diligently as their email, so this helps. When using the Approvals app directly in Teams, however, I have no option to send an email. This article references the sending of an email when using esign - is the intention to make an email notification possible for regular approvals via the app in Teams also? This limitation is keeping our organization from beginning to adopt Approvals within Teams.

Please enable that HDMI input in Teams for Android so we can use it anytime. Really, please... this is more important than UI changes.. Room systems need this capability. I have all these Poly Studio X50's in Teams mode and can't just walk in and connect my laptop hdmi out to the hdmi in on the x50 and use it. Poly says they are at your mercy to enable this.

Please... get this done asap.

Please contact your Poly sales teams for details on when HDMI ingest and Device Mode will be coming. HDMI content sharing is not yet available on any MTRoA devices as it is dependent on a future Teams client release. "Device Mode" (or USB passthrough mode) is not a part of Microsoft's Teams certification process and is something that device vendors are offering under their own support model.

Opening a support ticket is the best course of action.

Please can we have an indication of when either MS or Citrix will enable an incoming call to a locally installed version of Teams show the pop up OVER the Citrix client, its really causing issue with having to have 2 versions of Teams and account for the different ways users may be able to handle calls depending on their set-up. To be on-topic: Just pushed the Teams-app update from within TAC to my test Teams Roombooking panel.

Updating is very slow and no progress information is shown. A bit annoying.

After the update I tried to push my config file again, but it still fails to apply. Trying to set the clock in 24hr mode instead of 12hr mode. But can't change it.

It tried to apply automatically the assigned profile also after the "Teams update", but that failed also.

I presume my problem here is not unique?

Offtopic but nice to know! Multiple control panels works also with the Android based collaboration bars like the Poly X30 en X50. You can pair mixed multiple Poly Trio's and/or TC8 panels. Max is 3 panels if I'm correct.

When adding two Crestron touch panels, the two will show an identical UI. If you press a button on one panel, it will be reflected on the other one.

You can mix and match different panels, the TS-1070 (black or white) is to be placed on a table and the TSW-1070 (black or white) is for mounting on the wall.

If you use the BYOD mode of a Crestron X system, the BYOD controls will only be shown on one panel and the other one can still be used independently to control (through a control system) an infinte number of cameras, lights, shades, video sources and more.

But as said above, this thread isn't really for discussing the panels inside the room but the scheduling panels outside the room showing a scheduling interface with the MS UI.

Yes that is possible with the Crestron Flex MTR devices. Don't know of any other vendors being able to offer this. Crestron can do it as they are network connected rather than USB connected.

This topic is about the MS Teams Room panels, roombooking panels outside the meeting room. For these panels it is no problem to configure more than one panel on the same meeting room.

For the Microsoft Teams Room videoconference controller, that is another thing. There can be only one main controller with all the functionalities you expect from the device. Poly has the Trio C60 as auxiliary speakerphones (max 3 devices), but it has only the controls for volume, mute and "end call"

When is live transcription coming to channel meetings? This would be helpful as our staff hold regular staff meetings in a channel and live transcription would be very helpful to back up any note-taking for the meetings.

A client is asking if more than one panel can be paired with a MS Teams room .. ie they have a large boardroom table and would like 2 panels (one on either end) to control the meeting. From what I can tell this is not supported but wondering if this can be confirmed. Thnx

We are experiencing the same issues as with Poly devices and video feed not showing.
Is there any update on this know issue or a place where we can follow updates besides creating a support ticket?

This long awaited and postponed update is finally here!

But it still lacks 2 essential features : The device mode which allows BYOD and use camera and microphone of the room on his own laptop with another video conferencing solution (because yes our users are also invited to other meetings than teams!), and of course the HDMI ingest (both for local presentation or content sharing).

On poly X30 or X50, these features are already available for weeks with other suppliers (zoom, starleaf ...) so it seems it is not poly that delays their implementation on teams, or am i wrong ?

When will these evolutions be available ?

@AlexC-MSFT 1. What kind of Service Account do we need to create for deploying this App? What Permissions and License should the Service Account have?

2. Is there a limitation on the number of Requests that can be created through the App per day if my Org has users with Office 365 E3 license?

Hi , sure you can have Teams templates in an EDU tenant! Have a look at this, I'm quite sure it would help: Microsoft Teams Templates - Improve collaboration

With this, you can even go further as:

You can have the content pre-configured (files, folders, tabs, apps, planner with tasks, etc.)
You can apply per each template dedicated governance policies (naming convention, approval workflow, sensitivity labels, membership policies, etc.)

Shame to say, but I could not found it :)

These were the methods to found the Media Build Version on room system devices.

#Option 1:
 Get-WmiObject Win32_PnPSignedDriver | select DeviceName, Manufacturer, DriverVersion

#Option 2:
 Get-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online

#Option 3:
 [environment]::OSVersion.Version

#Option 4:
 Get-HotFix

So one question is also, could this be something coming from O365?

when can the teams room supports the sharing / playing of video audio (Microsoft streams) thru meetings ? So far we are doing workaround , like ask someone joining online using laptop to share as the normal teams on the laptop support it . One more work around is if you are using small room with mtr, choose your laptop speaker instead of mtr ,it will work .

is there any plan for this? It will be very useful for big audience and workshop using meeting rooms.

I'd assume its OS related since the only core references I see it are in relation to Microsoft products like Skype and Teams. If your Teams Room GUI is on the latest version than I would pivot and checked the OS builds and cross-reference.
