In addition to the questions posted on this page, we also answer questions posted in reply to the event on LinkedIn and X (Twitter). Here are the questions we answered:
Question -- What does Recall take snapshots of? Browsing? Snipping Tool? - answered at 2:11.
Question from Tech Community -- Will x64 based machines that meet the TOPS requirement (i.e. Intel Lunar Lake) receive equitable feature advancements (Recall, Copilot for Windows SLM, etc.) at the same time as ARM based Copilot+ PCs? - answered at 3:22.
Question from Tech Community -- Why is there an option to disable Recall and also an option to disable snapshot saving. It seems they can't work one without the other, so why not just a Disable Recall option? With the 24H2 announcement, there was a GPO shared to disable snapshot saving, which we have set. Looks like that might not be enough? - answered at 4:58.
Question from Tech Community -- How do we remove Copilot on our machines through Intune? We were using a custom OMA-URI setting deployed using Intune, but that doesn't appear to work with 24H2 presumable because Copilot is now an app rather than part of Windows. - answered at 8:42.
Question -- What is your favorite Copilot+ PC features? - answered at 10:55.
Question from X - Will Windows 11 have in-box AI capabilities at some point? Or is the Copilot app the plan of record for now? - answered at 14:43.
Question from LinkedIn -- I'm lost. Security Copilot, Copilot for Microsoft 365, Copilot "app", Copilot Studio - How do I keep track of all the Copilots? - answered at 18:55.
Question -- For BYOD scenarios, we haven't rolled out Copilot in our org yet but users want to be able to use its capabilities to help them with writing emails or docs. How should we approach that? Worried about them entering company info in the retail UX. - answered at 22:18. For more information, go to https://aka.ms/Windows/ClickToDo
Question -- we heard a lot at Ignite and MMS - We now have new devices that are Copilot+ PCs but I am not using Copilot right now. How can I reprogram the Copilot key on the laptop? - answered at 27:23.
Question -- Ok, readiness and training. I have found materials on how to use Copilot, but what about how to use it securely? Where can I look? - answered at 31:17.
Question -- What options do I have to configure Recall data retention? - answered at 36:15.
Question -- Aria mentioned meeting summarizer as one of her favorite features. What is that? - answered at 38:45. For more information, go to https://aka.ms/MeetingSummarizer
Question - Can features be enabled individually? For example, Recall, no, but Click to Do, yes? - answered at 42:38. For more information, go to https://aka.ms/CopilotPlus/Features
Question -- Is ChatGPT hiding in the back end of Copilot? - answered at 47:05
Question -- Windows Search improvements. Please, please, please tell me some of those will come natively to Windows 11 24H2 and not just Copilot+ PCs. In general, how do you decide what comes to plus PCs vs. W11? - answered at 49:03. - Heather_Poulsen

While Prism emulation works reasonably well for application compatibility, my understanding is that this does not work universally. While it's exciting to see Qualcomm chip advancements in terms of number of TOPS, I'm not quite sure how large enterprise customers could adopt ARM based machines without a large architectural overhaul, not only for endpoint management admin teams but also packaging, etc. In addition, MDM tools like Intune would likely need to come full circle on ARM as well for all management policy types.
Smaller enterprise customers may be able to adopt ARM faster due to smaller app portfolios, but until either Prism is perfect, or an evaluation tool exists to evaluate an entire app portfolio, I don't see how large enterprise customers could adopt it broadly.
Additionally, will x64 based machines that meet the TOPS requirement (i.e. Intel Lunar Lake) receive equitable feature advancements (Recall, Copilot for Windows SLM, etc.) at the same times as ARM based CoPilot+ PCs?

Are there RSAT tools available yet for 24H2 running on Arm - if not, when will they be available please? 🙏
- KevinMineweaser_MSFT
Microsoft
Thanks for your question. You are correct that RSAT is not available ARM. For some scenarios you may find that the capabilities you need can be achieved using the Windows Admin Center. There's no further timeline or roadmap to share at this time.
