Frontline worker device management in Microsoft Intune
Event details
Discover the latest innovations in device management for frontline workers with Microsoft Intune. Frontline workers are essential for many industries, such as retail, manufacturing, and healthcare. They need devices that are secure, reliable, and easy to use. Managing these devices, however, can be challenging for IT teams, especially when you have to deal with different device types, user identities, and compliance requirements. Don't miss this opportunity to learn how Intune can help you efficiently manage frontline worker devices.
This session is part of the Microsoft Technical Takeoff: Windows + Intune. Add it to your calendar, RSVP for event reminders, and post your questions and comments below! This session will also be recorded and available on demand shortly after conclusion of the live event. |
- mlawniczak123Brass ContributoriOS Shared Device mode is still in Preview. Is there any news on what it might go GA? I have a bug I am seeing but can not report it to support because the feature is in preview.

Thanks for the question, mlawniczak123. Are you asking about when Entra ID shared device mode for iOS will be GA, or the ability to enroll iOS devices into shared device mode using Intune? If it's about the Intune functionality, the roadmap item is here: Microsoft 365 Roadmap | Microsoft 365
- RobdeRoosIron ContributorMy experience on Android Enterprise with Shared Device mode and logging off and the previous user and logging in with the next user, is that not all data is removed. Some app data is left behind on very specific apps. Also when assigning policies by using filters, we can't disable the device pin on a Samsung device. Are we doing something wrong? What's your experience?
- Matt_YandekMicrosoft
Thanks for the question RobdeRoos . For the app data clear question, unless the application is integrated with MSAL, it's a best effort to clear the app data and is subject to how the application stores its data. Can you share which application(s) you're having issues with? Feel free to send me a direct message if you don't want to share here.
For your question about filters and PIN policies on Samsung devices, please file a support ticket so we can help troubleshoot with you.
