End tag of the element must match the element type error

Question

Please can someone help?My dissertation is refusing to let me open it.I'm using word 2013 and have received the error message - We're sorry. We cant open xxxx because we found a problem with its content. The name in the tag of the element must match the element type in the start tag, Location: part /word/document.xml, line 2 column: 973498.I believe this is due to an anchored image. I have tried contacting microsoft, I have tried the fixes and rebuilding, although Im not sure I did the XML code fix correctly.&nbsp; Please can someone help, I have no idea what I am doing!!!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Zmicrosoftthank you - I did try that link initially, but it wouldn't work. I sent this same link to the Microsoft support guy I spoke to and he couldn't get it to work either.

In the end, I managed to fix the problem with https://sourceforge.net/projects/quickwordrecovr/
