wifi adapter stopped working then reboot issue

I had an issue with the my wifi adapter went disabled and could not restart it without rebooting. However, when i rebooted this time i saw a green screen that said something to the effect insider program then it went and started again and booted just fine. Once it booted up the adapter was working again and so far everything is working fine now.
