Not working WhatsApp Desktop in Windows 11 beta version
After start using the Windows 11 Beta Version, I cannot open the WhatsApp Desktop App in Microsoft Office. Is that a bug or error. Please help me out. Please comment your opinion if you are getting WhatsApp Desktop App in Microsoft Office
- Simply update or Microsoft store and reinstall WhatsApp from there or you can download WhatsApp desktop from its website and run the setup mine is working now without any issues

I think this may be related more to the Windows 11 Beta build rather than Microsoft Office itself.
A few users on beta/dev versions of Windows sometimes experience compatibility issues with desktop apps like WhatsApp especially after major preview updates. If WhatsApp Desktop was working before the beta update the issue could be caused by:
app compatibility problems
corrupted cache after updating
Microsoft Store sync issues,
or background permission/security changes in the beta version.
You could try:
updating WhatsApp Desktop from the Microsoft Store
reinstalling the app
clearing the app cache/resetting the app
or checking whether the latest Windows Beta update introduced known issues.
Also, just to clarify, WhatsApp Desktop normally runs separately from Microsoft Office so if you mean it does not open while using Office apps that may point to a Windows level issue instead.
I would also like to know if other Windows 11 Beta users are experiencing the same problem.

I can't understand why Whatsapp and Microsoft do not simply state that WhatsApp simply can't run in Windows 11, and the only option is to run WatsApp Web.
- humanconnectionnottechCopper ContributorIn my opinion Whatsapp is not a safe app. people have been able to send bots into my account and while talking to someone who I thought was my friend on the whatsapp they were able to phish my account. I deleted it and want nothing to do with it. Any app that wont let you just log in with a email etc. but needs you to scan a code with your phones personal camera is a huge red flag and lesson learned for me.

Abraham_C_B even I had the same problem, I uninstalled the app and again installed but it didn't work. After that I tried to repair it but again it was not opening. So, I visited the WhatsApp website page (https://www.whatsapp.com/download) and downloaded it from there and hence, it stated working.

Just to remind again , it does work with win10. - vbhavwakle970Copper ContributorBy downloading Whatsapp from official website issue is resolved now working fine. thank you guyz
