Is there a Bandicam for Mac? I want to record screen with audio
Hello everyone! I heard about Bandicam, a screen recording software, and I feel that it works particularly well in various introductions, and it's one that many people recommend.
But I'm using a Mac computer now, and I want to use it on my own device to record the screen to record some study and work . But I searched the official website and other common channels, and I'm not sure if it has a Mac version.
So I'd like to ask you guys is there a Bandicam for Mac?. If there is, please tell me where to download it and the precautions for installing and using it; if there is no such version, I hope you can recommend some other recording software on Mac that is equally good~ Thank you very much for your help!

If you want to know is there a Bandicam for Mac - The answer is definitely no. CleanShot X is indeed a fantastic screen recording app for Mac, and it has a lot going for it, but it’s good to keep in mind some downsides too. Here’s a casual breakdown:
Disadvantages of CleanShot X
- CleanShot X isn’t free. It has a one-time purchase price, which might make you hesitant if you’re just looking for something quick and free like Bandicam. If you're on a tight budget and looking for no-cost options, this could be a dealbreaker.
- While CleanShot X does great at capturing, it lacks extensive editing capabilities post-recording. If you want to chop up your videos or do some fancy editing, you'll need to switch to another app. It’s mainly for recording, so think of it more as a capture tool rather than a full video editing suite.
- While you can record audio along with your screen, the audio control options might not be as robust compared to dedicated audio software. If you’re planning on doing lots of heavy lifting with voiceovers or intricate audio layering, you might feel a bit restricted.
- Although the interface is pretty intuitive, if you're not familiar with screen recording software, you might have to spend some time getting used to where everything is. It’s not rocket science, but there might be a few moments of poking around to get it just right
- If you're planning to record a lot, keep an eye on your storage. CleanShot saves recordings, and if you're not regularly organizing or deleting old files, they can pile up quick. This isn't CleanShot's fault, but it's something to be aware of!
