Cannot Update Windows 10 to 11 on M.2 SSD
I have Windows 10 installed on an M.2 SSD and cannot get it to update to Windows 11. The installation almost completes but then it stops and reverts back to the current windows 10 install. I'm using a Gigabyte motherboard with TMP 2.0 installed. I have tried to do the upgrade numerous times with the same results.
I'd appreciate any advice regarding how to successfully complete this installation.
Thanks!

Ensure that all drivers, especially your graphics driver, are up to date. Incompatible drivers can often cause upgrade failures. Check if there are any updates available for your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI. Updating the BIOS can resolve compatibility issues and improve system stability.

It sounds like the upgrade process is failing during installation and rolling back to Windows 10. Since you have TPM 2.0 enabled, here are a few things to try:
- Check for Compatibility Issues – Run the PC Health Check tool to confirm your system meets all Windows 11 requirements.
- Disable Secure Boot & TPM (Temporarily) – Try disabling Secure Boot and TPM in BIOS, install Windows 11, then re-enable them.
- Update BIOS & Drivers – Ensure your motherboard BIOS and storage drivers (especially NVMe) are up to date.
- Use Installation Media – Download the Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft, mount it, and run setup.exe for an in-place upgrade.
