    I had the same issue with YouTube playlists—so many videos and no easy way to save them. I tried a few tools and ended up using AIIClipDon. It’s super straightforward, supports batch downloads, and exports in MP4 with great quality. Perfect for Windows 11.

I also wanted to save a YouTube playlist to my computer before, but I didn't want to install any additional software. Then I remembered that the screen recording function that comes with Windows can also be used as a simple YouTube playlist downloader for PC. Although it is a bit more manual, it is finally done!

  1. Open the YouTube playlist, select the first video, and play it in full screen.
  2. Press Win+G to bring up the Xbox Game Bar, and click the "Record" button to start recording the current screen.
  3. After the video is finished, stop recording and the file will be saved to the Video/Capture folder.
  4. Repeat the above steps for each video in the playlist until all videos are recorded.

Advantages:

  1. No additional YouTube playlist downloader for PC is required, the system's built-in function can complete the recording.
  2. Save in standard MP4 format and can be played directly on the PC.

Disadvantages:

  1. Each video needs to be manually operated, and the efficiency of batch recording is low.
  2. During the recording process, you need to ensure that the video is not disturbed and the playback time is equal to the recording time.

The whole process is to repeat it manually several times to record the entire playlist. Although it is not as efficient as a dedicated YouTube playlist downloader for PC, it is completely solved by system functions, and there is no need to worry about compatibility or quality issues. If you don't mind spending some time, this method is still quite reliable, especially since it can be done without installing additional tools!
