What's the best tag editor for editing metadata information?
ID3Genius Tag Editor, honestly one of the best tag editor I’ve tried lately. It’s super clean, lightweight, and doesn’t feel bloated like some of the older tools. Handles ID3 tags perfectly — titles, artists, albums, genres, BPM, key, lyrics, covers, etc., all that stuff just works.
The cool part? It’s really fast, even when you throw hundreds of tracks at it. Batch editing is smooth, and the auto-tag actually saves a ton of time. It doesn’t overwrite your data unless you tell it to, which is a nice touch.
It even has a built-in music player, so you can preview tracks while editing, and a lyrics matcher that automatically finds and adds lyrics for your songs (and it actually works pretty well).
It’s actively maintained, looks modern, and feels built for Windows 11.
