HP All-in-One 24-df1370: Waking from SLEEP Issues

I have an HP ALL-IN-ONE PC that is having trouble exiting sleep mode once the mouse or keyboard is touched. I have checked the power management settings in Device Manager, and they all look correct as they should to allow the peripheral devices to wake the computer from sleep. But they don't wake it, so I must press the POWER button on the computer. The POWER button shuts it down (I guess you could say manually) and restarts the computer. I don't know if something is crashing when I press the ENTER key or touch the mouse or what.

Thanks for the help ahead!

You mentioned checking the power management settings in Device Manager but verify that the settings are still accurate:

    1. Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
    2. Expand the Mice and other pointing devices and right-click your mouse device, then select Properties.
    3. Go to the Power Management tab and ensure Allow this device to wake the computer is checked.
    4. Repeat this for Keyboards (right-click the keyboard device under Keyboards and ensure the settings are correct).
