Can't turn off real-time protection on Windows 10

I'm experiencing challenges when attempting to disable Windows Security features, particularly the real-time protection component. Despite my efforts, I'm unable to find a way to permanently turn it off.

  • Press Windows + I to open Settings.

Go to Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.

Under Virus & threat protection settings, click Manage settings. Toggle off Real-time protection.

  • It's possible but in 22H2 you couldn't do it via group policy anymore. You can still do it in safe mode.

  • As per screenshot, your system looks infected with system threats.

Can you share us why you want to turn off real-time protection?

Are you using any other antivirus atm?
