Managing KB5025885: Enforcement phase (2024)

Hey Guys,

We would like to get some assurance regarding phase 3, the enforcement phase. Just to be complete, managing this issue goes thru this process:

1. First implementation phase: 
   1. This phase starts with updates released on May 9, 2023, and provides basic mitigations,
2. Second implementation phase:
   1. This phase starts with updates released on July 11, 2023, which adds additionally support mitigating the issue.
3. Third phase: enforcement
   1. The final enforcement phase that will make the mitigations permanent. Tentatively scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.

So what does the enforcement phase mean if you do not apply the revocations and do not update your bootable media once the enforcement phase updates are installed? It does not render your machines inoperable?
