Redefining confidentiality threshold
Hi there!
Understand that we can edit the confidentiality threshold on advanced configuration function. However, when the change is made, does it affect existing programs?
If already closed, do they become like a snapshot or will the new confidentiality threshold affect those data as well?
Thanks!

Thank you for your question Jing_Ying_Choon. Survey specific thresholds in Advanced Configuration > Surveys are only editable before a survey launches and collects responses. Theses thresholds become view-only fields after a survey has collected data. Edits made to thresholds in Advanced Configuration > Details control settings for your entire organization and can impact existing programs. For more information about editing thresholds see: Manage Viva Glint confidentiality thresholds.

Thanks so much!
Yes, we do understand that thresholds should not be changed after or during survey live. However, we understand that as threshold adjustments are made on the advanced config setting page which is platform wide (instead of it being survey specific). In this case, we want to make sure that in the case that the client had already ran several surveys at the default threshold of 5, decides to increase the threshold for upcoming surveys to a minimum of 10 instead, will this affect how data are shown for the past surveys or does past survey cycles data remain to be a snapshot of how it was before?

Jing_Ying_Choon thank you for the added context. Increasing the rated confidentiality threshold in Advanced Configuration > Details will only affect future survey cycles. Past survey cycles should retain the threshold that was in place for those cycles (in this case 5).
