Microsoft To Do Tasks Disappeared

Tony BROOKS I totally agree as it is a total waste of time to chase Microsoft - itโs just not good enough though and they really ought to take responsibility. Moving forward, can you suggest a different but similar tool?? Thanks very much ๐

Hello Emma, try OneNote (todo flag) and/or Outlook tasks. The integration looks useful: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/create-outlook-tasks-in-onenote-19725ff3-0234-495d-9838-fb1f511e924f but in my work environment I don't think the integration works. I have a colleague who uses OneNote, I create calendar appointments and give them a category based on priority or project (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-categories-in-outlook-com-a0f709a4-9bd8-45d7-a2b3-b6f8c299e079).
Some dissimilar tools: our team uses Jira and ServiceNow.- MarmaladeJamFeb 06, 2023Copper Contributor

Tony BROOKS I lost 100s of ToDos (some of which I had saved since WunderList days with house measurements, etc.). I contacted MS Support and was told they had a "war room" in progress to address the lost data issue. That was months ago. No further contact from Microsoft though I've asked for an update multiple times, and of course, no resolution. As far as I can tell, they've taken no responsibility for this issue. If you want to save yourself a lot of grief, I'd encourage you to start over with another tool and never look back.

This is not a big deal for me as TODO was a secondary tool I use to manage my time at work.
It is not acceptable that Microsoft loose data like this though. And a shame, I love using the Todo app at home for personal tasks
