Cannot find group

Hi,

 

We created a group through Microsoft Stream and then deleted the group as we wanted to use the URL for a Communication site but we cannot find the deleted group anywhere. It does not exist in the Office365 group using powershell (Get-AzureADMSDeletedGroup)

 

Any ideas how we can delete the group?

    When you create a group i Stream, you really create a group in Exchange. So when you deleted the group (from Stream I assume), you deleted the Exchange group. So the group is gone!

      Hi Jakob,

       

      I hope it was that simple. We deleted the group and as it wasnt in the deleted groups group we assumed the same. However when we create a new SharePoint site or Office365 group with the same name, they both fail with site collection already exists and there is no other location for this site colleciton to exist.
