Maintain code in tabs

Hello

 

Is it possible to make SSMS behave like Notepad++?

 

I mean to store all the code in all tabs automatically and restore them on start automatically either after crash or after closing it.

 

I have enabled some options to do that but they do not seem to work well. They do not save everything and they do not restore everything.

 

Is it possible to make this as smooth as Notepad++?

    Hi PowerSheller -- You might want to take a look at Azure Data Studio as an alternative to SSMS.  Azure Data Studio has a feature called "Files: Hot Exit" that makes it behave similarly to Notepad++.  Take care.

    No, it's not possible, you can only decrease the AutoSave period.
