Database Exists but is NOT an Authentication Database

I am trying to connect to an existing DB with SQL Server Authentication from a website. Then this error comes: "Database Exists but is NOT an Authentication Database" Can someone assist to solve this? Thanks

    That's not an error raised for the SQL Server database engine, so you are looking at the wrong end of the story.

    The error is raised by the application, so contact the software vendor support or the app author.
