Trying to copy list fields SharePoint 2013 workflow

I need to create a 2013 workflow to update information in a library after a new document is added.  The user uploads a document and selects Acronym to create the value TListID.  This field would link to the ID field in the Source List to identify the correct row.  I need to bring over the applicable User and Company from the Source List to the Library.  I have tried numerous iterations of the Update Item workflow with no success.    Any ideas?
