SPFx Application - Footer repeating when links in Quick launch is clicked

Hi All,

 

We are facing a strange issue where in Footer added via SPFx application customiser is repeating every time we click a link from Quick Launch (only when async load i.e. no page refresh)

 

I am sure this was working earlier and we have used reference from - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/spfx/extensions/get-started/using-page-placeholder-with-extensions 

 

Any idea or direction will be a great help.
