Rename Title or Use a New Column in the Content Type for List?

I have created a SharePoint list using PNP cmdlets but the default Title column which is inherited from System doesn't reflect an accurate description. I'm uncertain of best practice or possible consequences in either renaming the default Title, or hiding it and using a different column in the Content Type to associate with Edit/View. Further this list will be used as a lookup and with Power Automate/Flow in the future.

So is best practice to rename it or hide?

    You cannot modify the Title Site Column, but at the list level you can do what you need:
    - Renaming it
    - Hidding it
    - ...
