editing a list only using the app ; not explicitly editing the list.

I am using a PnP solution for creating site collections using ReR

This solution enters a record in the list Site Request (list - which gets created on app installed event).

However, i don't want user to write to this list explicitly and this should happen only with the App only.

If i remove the write access of the users, people cant use the app to create site.

Is there a way to change this, app only permissions
